WTC Underage Drinking - Lakeland News at Ten - July 14, 2011

Who We Are

Our goal is to provide the school districts of Northland Community, Pine River-Backus and Walker-Hackensack-Akeley information on how to prevent the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs among our youth.  We will do this by providing you information about what our Coalition is doing locally and also direct you to existing online resources that will provide information on drug facts, street terms, signs and symptoms as well as links to interactive sites for both youth and adults.

Our mission is Working Together to prevent substance use by our youth through community collaboration, resulting in an improved quality of life.  In turn we would like to raise public awareness of the risks and consequences of the use of substances so that as a community we can work together develop, implement and support environmental strategies to have a safe and healthy community free of the impact of substance abuse and its negative effects.
